Board of School Trustees

The function of the Board of School Trustees is to establish school policies, adopt an operating budget and tax rate for the school district, and authorize the expenditure of funds from the approved budget.  The board also acts upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools on a wide variety of topics, including personnel matters, curriculum issues, facility needs, transportation, school/community relations, etc.
