Michael J. Springer, Superintendent
Welcome to North West Hendricks School Corporation’s website. NWHSC is a rural school district comprised of the following Hendricks County communities: Lizton, North Salem, and Pittsboro. We have approximately 1,900 students and historically our students have performed among the highest in the state on state-wide assessments.
Our schools have excellent support and involvement from our parents and community members. As a school district, we view our parents, community members, and our “staffulty” as partners in our students’ education. To that end, we will spend much of the 2017-18 school year building a three-year strategic plan focused on four pillars: Teaching/Learning, Climate/Culture, Facilities/School Safety and Community Involvement. Our parents and community members will play major roles in this planning process.
Thank you for visiting our website and you are welcome to contact us for additional information about NWHSC. Also, we encourage you to follow me on Twitter at @nwhsc1.
