2018-19 is my 7th year as principal here at Tri-West, although I have been very fortunate to serve in a few other positions here in our building. In all of these positions, I have consistently observed a commitment to excellence that continues to make Tri-West HS and the entire NWHSC such a great place to live, work, and raise children.
With an emphasis on personal relationships and individualized learning, our PreK-12 learners will develop into the most sought after candidates for colleges/universities, the workforce, the military, or apprenticeships. Our staff of teaching professionals will prepare your son/daughter for whichever post-secondary career path they choose!
My hometown is Remington, IN where I grew up with two wonderful parents, two brothers, and an extended family of educators. I graduated from small, close-knit Tri-County HS in 1995, after which I received my bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University in 1999. While working as a chemistry teacher I completed my Master’s in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005, as well as the Principal Leadership program in 2006.
My family moved into our district in 2007. My wife Crystal works as a guidance counselor at Reagan Elementary in Brownsburg. We have 3 children who keep us very busy with sports and other activities in and around our community.
2018-19 is my 19th year working in public education. I was a teacher and coach for 8 years before accepting my first job in administration. I was the Athletic Director for 3 years and Assistant Principal for 1 year here at TWHS before becoming principal in 2012-13. It has truly been a blessing for me to accomplish some of my personal professional goals without leaving the confines of our building. It will continue to be my sincere desire to make Tri-West HS the best it can be for your children and mine.
