Monday, Dec. 10th

1. Yoga- meet in the Maker's Space lab.  If you can't join us tonight, we'll be back after the new year with more after school yoga!

2. Robotics club reminder - there is no robotics club due to band practice.

3. Reminder to band students that we have dress rehearsal today after school in the high school auditorium until 5pm. Remember to bring your instrument, music, and percussionists bring your sticks.

Friday, Dec. 7th

1. Don't forget, yoga on Monday from 3:30 to 4:30 - this will be our last session of the semester so bring your comfortable clothes and join us!

2. Last night the Bruins hosted Northridge. The 7th grade Northridge tean came into this contest undefeated but left the Bruins' den with their first loss of the season.The Bruins defense clamped down and held Northridge to just 10 second half points. The score was 48-31 with Cole M and Max R both scoring in double figures. The 8th grade boys won their second game in a row defeating Northridge 47 to 35.  Leading the way for the Bruins was Garrett O with 11 points and grant O with 10 points.  Great job Bruins!!

Thursday, Dec. 6th

1. FCA will meet tomorrow morning at 8:00 in the gym. 

2. The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams will be in action tonight here at Tri-West.  They will be hosting the Chargers from Northridge Middle School.   Game time is set to start at 5:30 for 7th grade, with 8th grade to follow.

Wednesday, Dec. 5th

THERE WILL BE A STUDENT COUNCIL MEETING TOMORROW MORNING AT 7:45!!  

1. It was a total team effort for the 7th grade basketball team in beating Crawfordsville 51-13. 8th grade got their first win of the season last night beating Crawfordsvile 33-27. The Bruins were led by Grand O with 10 points and Karan D with 9. Clutch free throws secured the game along with great defense led by Connor S. 

2. There’s no open mat today (Wednesday) after school.  Again, no open mat after school.
 There will be a brief team meeting with Coach Sullivan in his room during PRIDE on Thursday.  Again, a brief team meeting during PRIDE on Thursday.
 
3. FCA small group will meet tomorrow morning at 8:00!

Tuesday, Dec. 4th

1. 8th grade algebra students in 5th period.  Be sure you received the worksheet on the way out of class, not a second copy of the glue in note page.

2. Last night the the 7th grade played host to Brownsburg East Middle School. The boys came out victorious, in a very exciting 43-36 overtime win. Max R and Ethan E score in double figures to lead the Bruins.  The 8th grade lost to the Bulldogs, 51-38.  The Bruins were led by Reid B with 13 points.  The boys are in action again tonight at 

3. Students:  Be sure to check out all the lost and found on the stage in the cafeteria!  There are lots of things that need to be claimed!!  

4. If you're an 8th grader, and you are prescribed glasses or contacts, make sure to wear them tomorrow because you will be having your eye exams!!

Monday, Dec. 3rd

1. Reminder to 6th graders, there is NO after-school help Tuesday with Mrs. Parrinello. Please go home as normal.
 
2. Just a reminder that Yoga for tonight has been cancelled. 
 
3. There is a swim and dive parent meeting tonight here at the middle school in the cafeteria starting at 6:30. 
 
4. Any girl interested in playing basketball — Tryouts begin tonight right after school until 5:00! Please make sure all physical paperwork is in file with the athletic office. 
 
5. The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams will be in action tonight here at Tri-West as they will host the Bulldogs from Brownsburg East Middle School.  Game time is set for 5:30 for the 7th grade, and 8th grade will follow. Good luck Bruins!

Friday, Nov. 30th

1. ATTN: All 6th Grade Students and 6th Grade Students only!

Ready for some Holiday fun?  Jingle Jam, Hosted by Venture Church is being held Sunday, Dec. 2nd at TWHS from 5 to 7 o'clock.  Open to any child 6th grade and under.  Every kid who attends is able to shop for FREE gifts for their parents, have snacks, play games, and enjoy a short holiday skit.

2. Reminder to swimmers and divers, parent meeting is Monday night in the cafeteria 

3. Last night the 7th grade boys basketball hosted Avon North Middle School.  The Bruins came out victorious with a 53-40 win. The Bruins were lead in scoring by Ethan E with 19pts, followed by Drew M with 16 and Max R with 14.  8th grade lost to a tough Avon North team, 65-30. 

4. Attention Tri West Middle School students, we proudly present the 2018 middle school play!!  Tonight at 6:00 p and Saturday at 5:00 pm, you have a once in a lifetime opportunity to attend "The Bachelor King". What does it cost to attend the play? It  is a suggested free will donation of $5.00 a person with a portion of the proceeds going to Special Olympics Hendricks County. So come out and support Tri West Middle School and Special Olympics Hendricks County!!

5. Mrs. Workman's PRIDE is having a good month as they are this month's BOXTOP winner. And the traveling trophy moves on!

I hope they have more at home because we are having a big BOXTOP drive before Christmas.  Before break, the winning PRIDE will receive a huge saran ball full of fun and prizes! Clip and collect as many as you can!

1. There is a yearbook meeting after school today in Mrs. Dionne's room. 

2. 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams will be in action again tonight here at Tri-West, as they take on the Orioles from Avon North Middle School.  7th grade game will start at 5:30, with the 8th grade game to follow.  Good luck Bruins!

Wed. Nov. 28th

1. FCA small group will meet tomorrow morning at 7:45. 

2. Monday night the Bruins hosted Avon South.  Max Robertson and Ethan Elzey scoring in double figures to lift the Bruins to a 48-37 victory. 

Last night, Max Robertson, Ethan Elzey,  and Drew Miller all scored in double figures. The the Bruins stepped up their defense, only allowing 15 points in the second half. The final score was a 53-35 Bruins victory.
