Wednesday, March 20th

1. Mr. Powers small group will meet tomorrow morning at 8:00 in the makers space. 

2. Spirit week will be next week.  Check the flyers around the building for dress up days.  Cost is $1 per day to participate.  Be sure to bring extra money on Thursday for snacks, and to be able to attend the basketball tournament.  All proceeds go to Special Olympics. 

3. Fundraiser items will be delivered next Tuesday, March 26th.  If you sold multiple items, please arrange to have your parents pick you up from school.  

4. High Five luncheon is tomorrow.  If you got picked, remember to have lunch in the Makers Space tomorrow during your lunch time!

Tuesday, March 19th

1. The Winter Sports banquet is tonight starting at 7 pm in the gym. Please come dressed to impress for all the of the pictures with teammates and coaches.

Monday, March 18th

 

1.   Current 8th graders planning to play Football next year. There is a meeting in High School Auditorium right after school today. If you plan on playing football next year you need to be in attendance. You may ride Bus #1 to the HS and get off of the bus to attend the meeting. We will be done around 4:30 and weight room will be open until 5:00 for those of you still wanting to lift. Please make arrangements on when you need to be picked up.

2. Jst a reminder to all Winter Athletes, the Award Night is tomorrow,Tuesday, March 19th at 7PM in the gym. Please come dressed to impress for all of the pictures with teammates and coaches.

3.  CONGRATULATIONS to the 8th Grade Choir for an outstanding performance at the ISSMA Organizational Contest on Saturday!  They earned a GOLD-rating in Group III...a first in school history!  This means that all 3 of our TWMS choirs earned GOLD this year, and 2 new school records were set.  We are proud of all of our singers for their great work!

Thursday, March 14th

1. The Builders Club will be having Spirit week the week before Spring Break.  The cost to participate in the dress up days is $1 per day.  The days will be as follows:

Tuesday, March12th

1. Our Girl's team finished 5th last night in the Sagamore Conference Swim & Dive Meet.  Congratulations to Kassi, Quinn, Lucy, Hannah with a 2nd place finish in the Girl's 200 Free Relay.  Congratulations to Amanda L, Quinn S, Taylor B & Hannah I for each placing top ten in 2 individual events last night.

Good luck to the Boy's team as they compete in Conference tonight at Crawfordsville.

Monday, March 11th

1. CONGRATULATIONS to the 6th and 7th grade choirs for outstanding performances at the ISSMA Organizational Contest on Saturday.  The 7th grade choir earned a gold rating, and the 6th graders earned a Gold With Distinction rating.  Both choirs were great representatives for TWMS!

2. This last Saturday was the colorguard's last performance. However, the winter drumline did advance to state finals! Adrian A, Korbin B, Ryan H, and Vincent V are all involved.

Friday, March 8th

1. There will absolutely, positively, without a doubt be yoga after school Monday. 3:30 to 4:30. Wear comfortable clothes. Everyone welcome!!!

2. Your Bruin wrestlers have been in action this past week with Wrestlemania last Saturday and the Hendricks County Tournament finishing yesterday.

Congratulations to Wrestlemania champions Jake Hockaday and Maddox Johnson.  Trystan Aspeslet finished 2nd, Ty Owens and Eston Ward 3rd, Gavin Weaver 4th, and Tyler Halford and Korbin Brooks 5th. Another congratulations to the true 152lbs Hendricks County Champion Trystan Aspeslet.  Finishing 2nd place were Maddox Johnson and Jake Hockaday.  Owen Fairburn took 3rd place and Korbin Brooks finished 4th. The Bruins wrap-up  their season Saturday in the Sagamore Conference Tournament:  Good Luck to:

3. - The Bruins had a great night last at the Hendrick's County Championships, the girls finished 3rd and the boys finished 2nd.  10 girls and 8 boys made top 6 and stood on the podium last night.  

- The Boy's 200 Medley Relay was 2nd, but crushed the previously established school record (now down almost 6 seconds from the start of the season) - Congratulations to JJ, Michael, Garrett & Aidan!  

- The girl's 200 Free Relay with Kassi, Quinn, Anna & Hannah also came in 2nd place.  

- JJ, Aidan, Garrett & Michael were county champions in the Boy's 200 Freestyle Relay and also reset the school record for that relay as well.

- Garrett was 2nd in the 200 and 400 freestyle.  

- Hannah I was 3rd in the 50 free.  Aidan W 3rd in 100 Freestyle

- JJ and Michael were County Champions in 2 individual events each.  JJ won the 50 Fly and repeated his win from last year in the 100 Backstroke.  Michael won the 100 IM and repeated his win from last year in the 100 Breaststroke.

Both the girls and boys teams have conference meets next week.  The girls on Monday and the boys on Tuesday.  Reminder to all girls who are competing in conference on Monday - the bus will leave immediately after school for Crawfordsville.

4. Good luck to the 6th and 7th Grade Choirs who will both be performing in the ISSMA Middle School Choir Contest tomorrow!  We are hoping for two GOLD ratings!  "Break-a-leg" to all our singers!

2. There will be a final tryout our for Middle School Club Softball at the High School Auxillary gym on Friday 5:30-7:00. Any girl interested in trying out, please plan to attend the tryout.

3. The 8th Grade Lady Bruins advanced to the semi-finals tonight in the county tournament by winning over Plainfield last night 28-23.  Leading scorers were Ava S. with 10 points, Kendall W. with a season high 9 points., and with 4 each Ryanne F. and Kylie H.

Leading rebounders were 11 Ava S., McKenzie W. 7, and Kendall W. with 4. The ladies will play at Brownsburg West tonight against Brownsburg East.
