You may purchase tickets at the door for $7.  There is a chili cookoff before the concert, and a costume contest at intermission.  Come join the fun and listen to some great music!

6.       The Marching Blue Alliance had a strong finish to their competition season, placing 6th at State Finals out of 16 bands. Congratulations on a fantastic season!

1.        Reminder – Harlem Wizards pre-sale ticket orders are due tomorrow.  Turn those in to the office.

Wednesday, October 11

1.        The Bruins football teams wrapped up their successful season last night, both easily defeating the Cascade Cadets.  7th Grade Bruins rolled over the Cadets, 52-0, finishing 6-3 on the year and wining their last four in a row.  Your 8th Grade Bruins defeated the Cadets, 28-6, finishing undefeated at 9-0 on the season and 16-0 in their middle school career!   Congrats to the Bruins football teams!

2.        Fall athletes in the sports of cross country, volleyball, football and cheerleading will be honored the Fall Sport Recognition Program on Tuesday, October 24, starting at 7:00pm.

3.        Ainsley K. and Max B., be sure to stop by Mrs. Koontz’s room and get the homework paper from today.  It’s in the folder on the door.

-          Get your ticket order forms turned in by Friday to watch the  Harlem Wizards take on the North West Hendricks Gym Class Heroes on Thursday, November 2 in the TWHS gym.  Order forms are still available in the main office.

-          The Hendricks County Kids Fair will be held this Saturday, October 14th, from 1 to 4:00pm at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds.  Lots of fun activities planned and free for the whole family.

Tuesday, October 10

1.        Tonight, the 7th and 8th grade Bruins wrap up their season on the road at Cascade.  Teams, meet in the auditeria after school.  Bus departs at 4:00.  Good luck Bruins!

2.        8th grade algebra students, the answer key for the review is on Schoology if you need to look at Mrs. Koontz’s work.

3.        There will be a Hendricks County Kids Fair this Saturday, Oct. 14th from 1-4 at the Hendricks County Fair Grounds.   This is a free event with a non-perishable food donation.   Flyers are available in the office. Stop by and grab one!

4.       7th and 8th Grade boys basketball open gym will be held today, Wednesday, and Thursday  after school from 3:30-5:00. 

5.       All fall sports athletes --  the fall sports recognition program will be held on the Tuesday we return from the fall break.  That date is October 24th and it will start at 7:00pm.  All student-athletes in the sports of cross country, volleyball, football and cheerleading will be recognized for all of your achievements at this event.  Be sure your parents know so that you all can attend.

Wednesday, October 4

1.        Your 7th and 8th grade combined football teams defeated Frankfort last night, 43-8.   With last night’s win, the 8th grade Bruins claimed a Sagamore Conference Championship, their second in a row.  Ryan K.  ended the first half with a school-record 43-yd field goal!  Should the 8th grade team defeat Cascade next Tuesday, they will be undefeated in their middle school career.   The 7th grade team moved to 5-3 on the season.

2.        Don’t forget All Pro Dads will meet tomorrow morning at7:00am in the LGI room.  Come out and join the fun!

Tuesday, October 3

1.        Last night the Bruins cross country team wrapped up their season running in county at Danville.  The ladies finished 4th overall just behind Brownsburg. Top finishers included Baylee M. (6th), Kylie H. (9th), Grace H. (14th) and Laura W.  (17th). Great job runners on another successful season!!

2.        Your Bruin football teams will travel to Frankfort tonight to take on the Hot Dogs in Sagamore Conference action.  Team, meet in the auditeria after school today.  Bus leaves at 4:00.  Good luck Bruins!

3.       Student Council members, don’t forget you have a meeting at 7:30am tomorrow morning in Mrs. Wiley’s room.

4.       Attention 6th graders!  Your magnets must be on the outside of your lockers!

7.        Tonight, the Pittsboro Police Department will have their “National Night Out Against Crime” at Scamahorn Park in Pittsboro.   It will be held from 5:00 to 8:00pm.  Lots of free activities, door prizes and a live band.  Also an Xbox tournament.  Come out and show your support of our local public safety officials.

Monday, Oct. 2

1.       Another successful weekend for the Marching Blue Alliance at Fishers High School. They brought home Best General Effect, Best Visual, and 1st Place. Congratulations!

2.       The 8th Grade Lady Bruins Volleyball team defeated Crawfordsville, Frankfort, and Webo all in 2 sets to win the 2017 Sagamore Conference Tournament! Way to end the season ladies! 3 tournament wins, and our record for the season was 22-2! So proud of you all!

3.       The TWMS Student Council will meet next Wednesday, October 4th, at 7:30am in Mrs. Wiley’s room.  Make a note of the day change.

4.       ATTN STUDENTS:  Bus #3 will be #23 tonight.  

5.       Play participants…Scenes 1,2,3, & 4 practice today from 3:30-4:30 AT THE HIGH SCHOOL!! You need to ride your bus over to the high school, show your bus pass to your bus driver and then get off and go into the AUDITORIUM. I will meet you over there. If you have not gotten a bus pass from Mrs. Diagostino, please go get one now!

6.       Good Luck to our Cross Country team tonight as they compete in the county meet.
