Good afternoon NWHSC Families!
We have hit an unfortunate quarantine situation at North Salem Elementary School that will require us to shift to eLearning next Monday and Tuesday. As I had indicated in the District Newsletter that went out yesterday, we know this may happen on a case by case basis for the safety of our students and staff. NSE will be moving to eLearning starting Monday, Dec 14 and will return to in person instruction on Wednesday, Dec. 16. We understand the impact these decisions may have on our families, however, we must always keep the safety of our students and staff as a top priority.
Through eLearning on Monday and Tuesday, our teachers will be able to provide instruction for students while at home. Thankfully, due to the experience of our virtual learning throughout this semester, I feel confident that NSE is ready to implement an eLearning program that will engage our student learners.
I apologize for the short notice in this very fluid situation. More information from Mrs. Cox will follow later today specifically for NSE parents regarding the upcoming week, eLearning expectations, food program, and device pick up.
As always, thank you for your support of our students and schools!!
