Ryan Nickoli, PrincipalWelcome to Tri-West Middle School!  We have been recognized multiple time as a four star school and recently re-designated once again as a National and State  “Schools to Watch”.  It is a pleasure to serve as your principal. I truly look forward to an outstanding 2017-2018 school year.

We have a awesome staff that will work to ensure your student receives a meaningful and rewarding middle school experience.   The middle school years are an exciting and challenging time for teenagers. It is our goal to provide a rigorous educational experience, while preparing all students for their high school years and beyond.   Tri-West Middle School has a solid core curriculum and provides enrichment opportunities through our high ability classrooms. Students will also find multiple opportunities to be involved in after school clubs, activities, and athletics.  We continue to support a "bring your own device" policy.  This allows for all students to bring their own technology devices to school with the hopes of bettering their educational experience and knowledge base.  The middle school uses "Schoology" for our Learning Management System.  Students and parents should become familiar with using Schoology as teachers use this tool on a regular basis.

Tri-West Middle School is a special place. The community and parents provide tremendous support to help make this possible. In addition, our students are talented, hard working, and responsible. They truly make it a pleasure to come to work each and every day.   I encourage all students to be actively involved in their middle school years. The more involved students are, the more successful and rewarding their experience will be.  I look forward to continuing a tradition of excellence and creating positive relationships with the staff, parents, community members, and most importantly; the students.

While we've had many accomplishments and successes to be proud of, I always look for ways that we can all improve.   Our theme this year is "Bruins stand for..." and then multiple ideas and themes will be introduced that all students should be proud to stand for.  Some examples include; Bruins stand for "excellence", "diversity", "respect", etc...   Please challenge your students to consider what they stand for and how they can make a difference in their school and community.   Enjoy the Journey because your middle school years will fly by!
Yours in Education,

Ryan Nickoli, Principal
