Principal

Welcome

Ryan Nickoli, Principal

Welcome to Tri-West Middle School!  We have been recognized multiple times as a four star school and as a National and State  “Schools to Watch”. It is a pleasure to serve as your principal. I truly look forward to an outstanding 2019-2020 school year.

We have an awesome staff that will work to ensure your student receives a meaningful and rewarding middle school experience.   The middle school years are an exciting and challenging time for teenagers. It is our goal to provide a rigorous educational experience, while preparing all students for their high school years and beyond.   Tri-West Middle School has a solid core curriculum and provides enrichment opportunities through our high ability classrooms. Students will also find multiple opportunities to be involved in school clubs, activities, and athletics.  We’ve added a solid character education program to our PRIDE curriculum, which takes place on rotating Tuesday mornings. In addition, we are a 1:1 school where each student receives a chromebook to be used on a daily basis. They are free to take it home, as most teachers expect students to be able to use both Schoology and Google Classroom.   Students and parents should become familiar with using both of these platforms as teachers use these tools on a regular basis.

Tri-West Middle School is a special place. The community and parents provide tremendous support to help make this possible. In addition, our students are talented, hard working, and responsible. They truly make it a pleasure to come to work each and every day.   I encourage all students to be actively involved in their middle school years. The more involved students are, the more successful and rewarding their experience will be. I look forward to continuing a tradition of excellence and creating positive relationships with the staff, parents, community members, and most importantly; the students.

While we've had many accomplishments and successes to be proud of, I always look for ways that we can all improve.   We continue to live by our mission of “Preparing Today’s Learners to Become Tomorrow’s Leaders”. A true focus of students being engaged and transferring their learning to the outside world has become a fixture at the middle school. The staff appreciates your support and welcome you on your next visit. Enjoy the Journey because your middle school years will fly by!

Yours in Education,

Ryan Nickoli, Principal
