Northwest Hendricks Schools has a 1:1 device program in which all students in grades K-12 are individually assigned a Chromebook to use for completing coursework during the school day and to take home at night and complete homework assignments. NWHSC uses a Google Workspace Suite of applications to enable communication between students and teachers and collaboration on projects between students.
In our classrooms, the school district has recently completed installing new laser projectors in every classroom, and teachers are able to wirelessly present from their Chromebooks to the projectors, as well as, share videos, polls, quizzes, and more. Teachers are able to allow student collaboration and student participation through the use of technology in each classroom.
NWHSC continues to pursue the very best technology for the staff and students with current upgrades to the robotics programs, Project Lead the Way labs, art labs, and network capabilities.
