An amazing turnout at All Pro Dad Breakfast this morning. Thank you so much to Mr. Miller for his leadership!!
Today is picture day! Also, All Pro Dad Breakfast starts at 7am in the PPS Cafeteria.
The first All Pro Dads breakfast of the school year will be this Friday (9/9) in the PPS cafeteria and we will discuss the topic, Positivity. The meeting is from 7-7:30AM and we encourage all dads to come out and enjoy some time with your kids before sending them off to school.

Ms. Evans’ class had a great time doing partner activities today! The completed partner talks and worked with a partner to identify character traits of main characters. What a fun learning opportunity!
We celebrated our two brides to be this afternoon!! Congrats to the soon to be Mrs. James and Mrs. Brewer!!
Mrs. Warren’s students used their “why-lighters” in reading and math to annotate text and know why they are doing so!
Tomorrow (Thursday) is our first green t-shirt day of the year!! This is just a fun way to show school spirit and not required.
We were able to get the entire school together today to practice our first ALICE drill. Love getting our first group picture together!!

Mrs. Mahrer rocked her lesson today using the peepers she got at our PD to support teaching kids about their reading voice! Kids in Mrs. Mahrer’s class were learning lots today!

A big thanks to our amazing PTA for organizing our Camp Learn-A-Lot celebration today. These students kept learning over the summer and we loved celebrating them today!
Today, August 10th, is our first early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:55pm so that teachers can have professional development time.
We have an amazing team at PPS. We are always on hands on deck!
Another great day at PPS! Mrs. Hays’ class learned recess rules, Mrs. Smith’s class has a teamwork Pringles challenge and our 2nd grade team looked adorable in their matching shirts today!
