The North West Hendricks School Corporation, in conjunction with the Hendricks County Sheriff's Department, would like to announce that we have a new SRO starting tomorrow, November 3, 2026. Our new SRO is Deputy Lindsay A. Shaw II. SRO Shaw is replacing SRO Jill Lees who has taken a different role with the Sheriff's Department in Danville.
SRO Shaw is a Hendricks County Resident for the past twenty-eight years. He started at the HCSD in July of 1999. SRO Shaw has spent the past twenty-four and a half years as a Merit Deputy assigned to the patrol division.
He has served in the following capacities during his tenure with the HCSD: Field Training Officer, Instructor, K9 Deputy, K9 Supervisor, K9 Trainer, Patrol Supervisor, Assistant Squad Leader, Squad Leader and Negotiator.
SRO Shaw has two children who attended Pittsboro Elementary, Tri-West Middle School and graduated from Tri-West High School. He has a Business Management degree with a focus on Human Resources. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, especially to other countries, hiking and experiencing new foods and cultures.
We are very excited to have him as a tremendous support and safety presence primarily at Tri-West High School. Please welcome SRO Shaw to his new role with us if you get the chance.
